| 05-4-2011 - week 28 check up |  My mood while writing this blog:okie dokie |
hey ladies. well I had my appointment last night that was cancelled from last week. well I failed my glucose test :( I was a 144 and the max was 140 so I have to go in for the 3 hour test within the next week or so. the doctor seems to think I will probably pass this one, but just bummed I have to do it since I got really sick from the 1 hour one. I am just not working that day cuz I know I am gonna suffer. oh well it will be worth it when I hear that all is okay. also the doctor said my belly is measuring 30 weeks but he was in a rush and didn't elaborate on what that means...he did not move my DD up so I guess baby boy is just big? what do you all think? bubs HB was 148 so that was good...he is always right between 148-155 so he is consistent lol :) I really am not a fan of the doctor I saw last night and hope he is not on call when I deliver...boo! well that is about it sorry if I rambled...hugs and lots of baby dust!

Hey! How annoying about the glucose test! When do you have to go back for that? Can you call your midwife about the measurement and discuss about the 30week size? To be fair though my friend was measured 3cm bigger and her baby came 3 weeks early and weighed just 5lb 9oz so I don't think the measuring is always accurate that you baby will be big! If that makes sense!! xx

sorry about the test. i failed my 1 hr glucose test too . i was really close just like you are and i asked my dr if i can re-take the 1 hr test and she said yes. thankfully, i passed the second time and didn't have to do the 3 hr test. good luck with your 3 hr test. i hope you pass =) . Just 12 wks to go!!!! take care!!!

I measured ahead alot! Tanner was a big boy - If he would have been 40 weeks he would have been at least 9 lbs easy!! (7.4 lbs at 2.5 weeks early) Im glad that all is well with baby boy - but sorry bout the test, I hated that stuff too... but my dr forgot to give me mine lol! Go figure!
