25-3-2010 - My Predicament

My mood while writing this blog:

ok so i have alot of things happening in my family. my parents are both in rehab almost ten hours away from me. i just need to vent a little cuz first of all i'm seventeen, i have a baby and i can take care of myself and my dad wont let me and my sis stay home for the night. me and my fifteen year old sister (who is practically my twin, i love her sooooooooo much) lived at home with both of my parents the beginning of this month. my mom has had a drinking problem for the last 34 yrs. according to my dad. she always went and bought beer behind his back and would drink all week. so one weekend he got tired of it and called my brother Jon to take her into rehab in Mexico. my bro Jake is in there for the same thing but is getting out on March 30th (Yay!). him and his wife and five kids live right next to us. now, my predicament, me and my sis want to stay at home because she has school and i have a baby and its hard for us to just pack up and go sleep somewhere every night. we have to wait til Jake gets out so he can come check up on us in the middle of the night cuz my dad thinks that Lenny, my sis, wants to have her boyfriend over for the night which is not true. she tells me everything. and another thing. Anberlin has been keeping me until LATE not letting me sleep and its getting SOOO frusterating. ok.now that that's out of my system i feel so much better. now for the good things :) i got a new niece Feb 28th her name is Delilah.. that makes like 22 nieces and nephews! whew! anberlin is good during the day and loves to play with other little girls and even fights a little lol its too cute. i hope she'll start crawling soon... when did your babies start to crawl and how did you help them along??? thank you ladies for reading my little rant :) (sorry if its a little confusing!)

Things will get better, try to keep your head up. I was 17 when I had my baby girl and was completely on my own, now I am going to have 5 and 6! Things will get better, just keep your head up! Talk to your dad about how difficult it would be for you to move your daughter to another location at night versus the day.

You have to stay strong for you and that sweet little angel girl of yours. Always know that eventually things will get better. I was 15 when I got pregnant with my daughter. I am now 31 and pregnant with my third bundle of joy. They are what makes the world go round. Just remember you can't change things that are out of your control. Head up, stay strong and smile! Cheers!

Just think positive thoughts. My friend got pregnant when she was 16 and her mum kept kicking her out of her house and she had to live with her abusive boyfriend. The only advice she told me was when times get rough, just keep your head up and just think of whats best for your baby. You'll make it through this predicament.
