| 04-9-2009 - 4 month dr. appt | My mood while writing this blog:Happy |
Hi ladies, Azia had her 4 month check up and not too much was said because she looked perfect and is right on track for all development. She weighs 13 lbs 3 oz and she is 25” long. Which puts her in the 75% percentile for her height! I was super excited to know that since she is pretty low on all other aspects. Her head is still only 3% percentile, which even though she is really smart and her definitely has grown, I think she just has a dinky little head like her daddy. LOL. Her weight is in the 30% percentile, which means she is not a super huge baby, but she is chunky and has more than doubled her birth weight, so She is more than great. She is growing rapidly especially length wise. Most of her clothes are getting small and she has tons of clothes that she has not even wore once. She now wears 3-6 months. She also wears 6 month clothes. This means that I have to buy her more clothes. When she was born I had tons of newborn and 0-3 months and several 3-6 mos but beyond that I have very little 6-9 months. I had no idea that this time would come so soon. I guess you learn that after you have a baby. I swear it feels like she was born only 2 months ago.
She got her shots also and she cried more this time than last, but she is doing ok except her legs got a little swollen. Poor hunny. She just got sick for the first time last night. She was crying and crying and she never cries especially not like she was at the top of her lungs. Her nose was runny and she was just really upset. I hope she gets better quick because I cant take all that crying it makes me sad and I cry with her.
Have any of you ladies gotten your daughter’s ears pierced already? When did you do it. I have been wanting to since she turned 2 months old but I haven’t had the money. Did you all know that the pediatricians office can do it for you too. I thought that was crazy I had never heard of that.Anyway that is it on Azia’s dr appt update.
