06-10-2009 - Life and Family Update

My mood while writing this blog: Stressed but somewhat happy

Well, things have calmed down a bit for now! My husband has been sweet and has been telling me how much he loves me lately and took me out a few times. We talk alot more. But only thing that bugs me is that he still plays those awful video games still. Ugh what's up with Grown Men and video games.LOL At least he's not out cheating or doing somethign behind my back, I guess I can't complain.LOL

I forgot to mention this but the Dental Adminstrator Job I decided not to take. I went 2 days for training, then I found out that it was not a hired position as of yet because they were goign to try 2 more people. I was furious. They were dishonest and on top of it, the dr. was super bitchy, and I sure didn't need more stress in my life with a job like that. Although I heard from my friend they were going to hire me, but I declined before they even asked. Oh and worst part they weren't going to pay me for the 2 days that I trained there. Awful isn't it.

Well the day that I declined the job I went to my Adult Gymnastics class that very night. The owner came up to me to ask if I was interested in working there because someone walked out on them and short staffed, and he knew I taught Dance and I have been training there for 2 years. I was so excited, I always thought it would be fun to work there. Anyhow, I started in Augusted taking over the Mommy and Me class. Ages 0 Months to 3yrs. It's fun. Love workign with the parents and children, and best of all I can take j-dee with me, and J-dee has been so great demonstating her tumbles, and the sing alongs to help the other parents teach there own kids how to do it. THe best news yet is that I have been working front desk there, and this sunday going to start helping out run the Birthday Parties there too. I am so excited to have a job that involves playtime.LOL I am actually a kid all over. ha ha. Now, the only thing I have been stressed is that one of the classes the owners want me to change a bit more and put more creative things for the parents to do. Before I worked there J-dee took that class in which she started when she was 12 months old. The teachers passed that class to me, ages 0 months to 3 yrs of age. I just continued what the teacher taught in that class. I am now trying to figure out what games, activities, and tumbles they can do without stressing the parents and child as well as me. I got to find the happy medium. Ugh, and tomorrow I start teaching dance classes too at another location every wednesday evening, and need to choreograph some dance movements as well as activity play from ages 3 to 18. Ugh. I am so excited about working again, but man I have been stressing because I don't want to be a failure at it.

And on a good note, my husband didn't lose his paralegal job at his law firm. Thank God. He has a good job already and it really provides for this family. Although he told me that he started looking for another because he just doesn't feel confortable there anymore. I don't blame him.

J-dee will be 30 months old in 6 days and I am happy that she no longer sucks on her binkie, can sleep in her own room, (still comes to me around 2am, but I love her and don't mind he sleeping next to me), Half potty trained, and is really smart for her age. I love her, and hope that both Juan and I can provide everything for her.
