27-2-2009 - Baby looks okay!

My mood while writing this blog: Ecstatic!

Okay so I got to have my ultrasound this morning and as you can see, the picture is on my main page though I'll probably post it here too! I am 5 weeks and 3 days or something like that and what you see is the gestational sac. The fetal pole cannot be seen until six weeks so the ultrasound technician said that everything looks okay right now. What a relief! I am thrilled to see this and to know that my baby's doing okay. Now I can really start to get excited, I guess seeing the ultrasound finally pushed me pass the shocked factor and into the "i'm going to be a mommy" mode. lol, cannot wait until my 11 week ultrasound! Maybe I'll get one even sooner too, who knows!
