06-3-2009 - Miscarriage

My mood while writing this blog: Sad

Okay, so yesterday I went to the ER because I passed tissue all day Saturday, no red blood or horrific cramping like you hear, just a bunch of small pieces of tissue every time I wiped. Then on Monday, everything was quiet, no more cramping, no more pain, no feeling of fullness, nothing. So, my doctor told me to go to ER yesterday and they did a urine test, a blood test and an ultrasound. Apparently they didn't find anything on the u/s, they didn't show me anything. They did say that my Hcg levels were still quite high and they said it might just take a while to go down and that I need to see my doctor every week for a blood test to make sure the Hcg levels get back to 0. Well, talk about a major dissappointment! My husband and I had just gotten over the shock and were both starting to get excited, and then, this. Darn it. Well, as my husband and I say, everything happens for a reason so maybe it just wasn't meant to be right now. Of course, we're still harboring the hope that baby was hiding like it was at the first ultrasound and that I'm still pregnant, lol, guess that's kind of how we're dealing with it so we can let ourselves down a little more gently. Well, gotta go now, we got a full day now so have a nice day ladies and I'll be praying that everyone elses pregnancies go perfect!
