26-3-2009 - 1 Down!

Okay, one doctor appointment down and one to go (at least for this month)! So, my doctor's appointment was awesome. I got to hear my baby's heartbeat!!! Yeah!!!!!!! Oh my goodness, this baby is exactly like my son was! We would hear the heartbeat for a few seconds and then the baby would move and the doctor would have to find it again. Then we'd find it, hear it for a few seconds, and baby would move again! That's exactly what my son did! Not to mention this baby is in the same spot my son was, down on my right side, very close to my hip area. I am just happy to know that my baby seems healthy and really active. I will be getting another ultrasound in two weeks to test for any genetic disorders. I'm looking forward to seeing my little one again. I asked my doctor about what to expect at my high risk appointment and she said they'll go over some of the same information she's gone over with me and stuff. I did find out that I'll be getting an amniocentesis at about 30weeks. I'm a little nervous about that because I've never had one and I'm not sure why theyr'e going to be doing one. But it's a ways away so I'm not going to worry about it right now. I'm just gonna keep taking it one day at a time so I don't stress during this pregnancy, I sure don't need it and neither does my baby. Well, I gotta go do my assignment that's due tonight so I gotta go, but thanks for all the support everone!
