31-3-2009 - Baby Looks Good!

My mood while writing this blog: Relieved

Okay, sorry about last night girls! I was a bit emotional, heck I can't even make it through movies like Ella Enchanted without crying! So, the bleeding has stopped but my doctor's nurse wanted me to come in today so I did. My doctor wasn't in so I saw another dr, really nice older guy. He told me that it could just be breakthrough bleeding which is completely normal (not for me)! lol, I guess it is a normal thing for a lot of women but he said this is around the time it would happen. They tried to listen for a heartbeat but couldn't find one so they did an ultrasound. I almost died once the tech got a good look at my baby cause there was no movement at all. No hand twitch, no fluttering in the chest, but it was pretty much because they did an abdominal u/s without letting me know so my bladder was very empty which made things fuzzy and hard to see! The tech finally got a good angle and we saw baby's chest fluttering away, what a relief! Heartbeat was 164 and strong though I think he/she was sleeping cause he wasn't moving, aside from the occasional twitch of the hand. He's also measuring at exactly 10 weeks which is exactly where I'm at. Boy, I tell you, this baby likes to keep right on track cause this is the second time he's measured exactly where I'm at. I've never had that happen before, has anyone else? Well, I'll post a picture of the baby and it is fuzzy but you can at least make out the head and bum which is important! And a big thank you to all you ladies. I am amazed every day by how supportive and great you all are, thank you! I think all of this would be much harder without a great group of women like you, thanks! Oh, I'm going to be posting the pic in the ultrasound page cause it's late and I hate how my photo has to ahve a url in order to post it in my blog. Oh, maybe I can put it on my pictures page too! Okay, I'm gonna go do this! Night ladies!
