07-8-2009 - Awesome News!

So, I had my doctor's appointment on Wednesday and was a little anxious to hear the news. Guess what? My cervix has actually lengthened! It is now at 27mm which it has not been at since my first trimester. My husband and I were floored. I get to go to the doc's every two weeks and when I go, I do not need to get a vaginal ultrasound to check my cervix...my doctor is just going to do a vaginal exam to make sure I'm ok and not dilating. I could not be happier! Thank you to all of you wonderful ladies for the kind words and encouragement! My husband and I now have hope that Brooke will be born at a good time instead of horribly early. I'll still be taking it easy but I just have more hope now. I will definitely keep everyone posted but for now, I am relishing the good news! I also posted some ultrasound pics in my pictures area because they did a full ultrasound and gave me some more 4D shots, it was so much fun, especially after the good news! Again, thank you for all the support ladies, I love you all!

wow that's great. Atleast u don't have to worry anymore! u have been through so much from the beginning i know u must be so happy. well so glad to hear the great news. i didn't even know ur cervix could change like that.
