29-8-2009 - Brooke has arrived!

Hey everyone! I haven't been on in a little bit but I am happy to announce that my daughter Brooke Ashley Gordon arrived on August 23 at 2:52pm! She weighed in at 3lbs 4ozs and is 16 inches long. She is not requiring any extra oxygen and has gone from eating 2cc's of breast milk on monday, to now eating 9cc's of milk! She has been doing wonderfully and all she needs to really work on is gaining weight so she can come home. Although I was disappointed I couldn't keep her in longer, I could not be happier with the outcome. I will be posting more about the circumstances surrounding her birth later but right now I am starving and it is time for me to hook up to the milk machine again, lol! I'll be posting pictures soon too once I figure out how to get them from the video camera to my computer! Hope everyone is doing great and i'll talk to everyone soon!

I'm so sorry that you couldnt keep her in any longer, but it sounds like she is doing really really well. She's a fighter!!!! Cant wait to see the pic's, how are you doing and how are the kids doing?
