09-8-2009 - 26 Weeks (Baby Movements) Hmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!My mood while writing this blog:
Hmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!

Hiya all

Well I'm 26 weeks as of today and to be fair its going a bit quicker now yaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy so glad.
Well I have felt baby moving for ages now and just wanted to ask you ladies some questions since this is my first so here we go:

Well for the past couple of days his movements has decreased, i have felt him but no where near as much is this normal?

I also feel him down really low all the time, everybody feels there baby high up, it feels like hes shivering so i'm guessing thats him moving, and is this normal?

Everybody goes on about how they feel baby kicking up high, well I have only felt him a couple of times a bit higher but nowhere near everyday just every so often?

I have had a check up and baby is head down and my uterus is the right size any suggestions????????????????

Thank you for reading x

My baby is all over the place! He went a couple days where he was up high, but turned again and now he is real low. As long as he is moving, you should be okay.

no sure about your other questions but i know my little baby girl keeps kicking low.... its like she wont move she just stays sitting up and kicks my cervix all the time!!! sometimes really hard and it feels weird. i asked the technician at my ultrasound if its normal for babies to kick in one area only and she said yes, some babies are just picky. i dont think you have anything to worry about! :) take care!

my baby has only started kicking higher up in the last week or so - it feels really odd !! but he always kicked lower left (my left) and nowhere else except straight down till the last week or so ! also in the last 2 weeks he has started doing like rolling about things and they creep me out they make me feel sick !!my baby tended to go mad for an hour n then sleep for a few hours ! everyone different i think ! xx

My boy is kinda low, kinda in the middle. usually right around my bellybutton. But he kicks my bladder and crotch a lot. he is still head up though. He will go through cycles of lots of movements and then not hardly any. Like for 3 or 4 days he will move a lot and then the next two I get maybe 12 kicks a day. My dr said as long as he is kicking 10 times in a day that he is okay. I don't know if that helps any. That is just what my baby is doing. =)

My little boy is down very low too. I think that is just the way it is with boys. I also think it may be based on where your placenta is attached. Like if it's attached more toward the top of the uterus then you wouldn't feel much movement in that area (just a theory who knows). They say to do kick counts for two minutes several times a day to check movement. I don't feel enough movement to be able to do that but a lot of girls do. I think it's somewhere around 10-12 kicks in two movements is good. If the movement slows then I'd track it and call the midwife if you want some reassurance or to get some guideance on how much movement to expect. But it does sound like everything is going great for you!
