22-9-2009 - 32 weeks & 2 days (Update on the past 2 weeks)

My mood while writing this blog: Confused/mad!!!!

Well all the way through this pregnancy I have been spotting etc and it's been a really big pain.

So the other week I went to the hospital because it happend again, I wasnt worried because it tends to happen every two weeks or so, so off I went they did the usual, what they call the doppler in the uk, where they listen to the bloodflow in the umbilical cord, and they said that was really low again, then I had to see the consultatant and she started saying that due to the restricted bloodflow in the umbilical cord I may have to have steriods etc and they put me on a HCG machine where they listen to babys heartbeat and did loads of other tests, which really worried me.

Well they eventually sent me away for a growth scan and it wasnt as bad as everybody originally thought which was a relief, I dont have to have steriods thank god.

Jacob is measuring small but not small enough that they have to take him out, just the kinda small where they keep an eye on me and him from now on, so I have to have regular hospital visits. I am also carrying alot of water which is a pain cos i'm bigger than I should be, but no stretchmarks as yet, i'm using all my cream, but i'm not getting my hopes up cos I will probally get them "-(

We have also got a new house which we havent got the keys for yet but there just fitting our new kitchen in it, its georgeous, theres alot of work though to do but it will keep me busy cos i leave work next wednesday instaed of 2 weeks before my due date due to all the appointments i've got. Cant wait for it all to be decorated all nice and cosy for Baby Jacob.
