| 21-9-2008 - Cooper at 5.75 months | My mood while writing this blog:proud |
1. Cooper has his 2 front bottom teeth literally allll the way in. It's so weird. He is supposed to be my toothless little infant forever. I have GOT to take some more pictures, but it's been hectic around here lately.
2. He is rolling around everywhere. You can put him on the floor and watch him roll a few miles to get what he wants. Yeah.......I'm gonna have to do something about having 4 shedding pets in the house and a baby that wants to get his floor on. My poor baby is furry and I swear to you I clean the floors daily whenever possible. Vaccuum AND swiffer. People think my English Bulldog won't shed much, but I swear she's the worst. Little white pine needles everywhere.
3. He is eating food!! So far, just really rice cereal. He has GOT to get to eating more solids b/c my breastmilk supply is really fading away. I tried to give him some formula mixed with breast milk last week, and he threw up hardcore all night. We got desperate and tried it again today, and so far so good, and that was like 8 hours ago that he had it.
4. Cooper really likes to talk. He just gets going on little tangents all the time. He screams at his toys when they don't do what he wants. Like when he is in his exersaucer, and he wants the toys to come OFF of the little tray so he can do what he wants, he will just SCREAM at them. It's very funny. He doesn't cry. He just yells at them. And then he'll look at you and smile.
5. He still sleeps in his crib. He likes it in there these days. And it's really weird, b/c you would think putting a baby down with as little stimulation as possible would be best, but he will often cry that way. If I put him in his crib and play Peek a Boo for a minute or 2, he's satisfied, and rolls over and goes to sleep when I leave the room. I know, it totally doesn't make sense, but that's my little Coop.
