30-12-2009 - Got the lab results...

My mood while writing this blog: nervous

I am pregnant! The crazy thing is that I am probably only about 4 weeks pregnant. I was really hoping I was more like 8 weeks pregnant = less chance of things to go wrong. Anyway, my hcg was somewhere in the 400s and my progesterone was 21. I go back to get my second set of labs on Monday, Jan 4th at 925 am. (They are closed Thurs and Fri for the new year.)

I have a horrible fear of having a missed miscarriage. I really thought with the funky period I was 8 weeks along. If my hcg is 400 something at 8 weeks, that is NO GOOD. Then again, I know it's not so much the numbers that matter, as it is that they double every couple of days. I just can't believe it looks like I am only 4 weeks pregnant. I also can't believe how badly I want this baby...a baby that I had no idea I even wanted until I peed on a stick.
