19-6-2011 - Expecting Baby Number 2!

Hi all

Wow it's been a long time since I wrote a blog on here! Found out on the 26th May that I'm pregnant again! We had discussed trying for another & stopped using contraception in March & it seems that we got lucky during the first month!! So that was a (nice) shock! I had a home visit from the midwife a couple of weeks ago & she dated the pregnancy at about 9 weeks so I am now about 11+4 weeks. As we nicknamed the last bump 'Fig', we've decided to continue the random fruit theme so this little one will be 'Plum'. He/she is due in early January so Ben will be nearing 3 years - hoping that will be a nice (& manageable-ish) age gap! We didn't find out the sex at the 20 week scan last time so we think we might give it a go & find out this time! First scan is on Wednesday so I'm pretty nervous but was very excited to find the heartbeat with my doppler yesterday afternoon so fingers crossed everything will be ok.
