Oh i'm so happy for you that Fig is rip roarin' and rarin' to go!! I went for my appointment yesterday and J.J is head down but posterior which the doc says is ok as most babies can be until the labour day. Might have to start walking on all fours around the house :-)
i've also been packing my bag - or at least getting things organised. i've got a tshirt that says 'No Pain No Gain' which i'm very tempted to wear during labour, however it only goes 'mid-bump' on me now so it might not look too attractive if i'm walking about!! haha, oh the thought. xx

that'sexciting you got to see the baby again...glad she/he is head down. Like you I also got measured for a nursing bra and have gone up to a 34 D so have definately grown too. Freaked out that I will soon be producing milk :) Hope your menstrual cramps improve. I've had them too but quite enjoying the sensation as it makes me think something is happening down there. Can't wait till our babies pop out, feel as if we've all been waiting a lifetime. take care of you and fig x

YIPEEEE!!!SO HAPPY LITTLE FIG IS HEAD DOWN AND LOW.YUP GREAT THAT FIG IS SO LOW.JUST BEFORE I GOT INDUCED THEY DID AN INTERNAL EXAM AND THEY COULD FEEL HER HEAD AND MY INDUCTION WENT VERY QUICK.6 HOURS.LOL I ALSO ONLY PACKED MY HOSPITAL BAG THE NITE BEFORE I WENT IN.SOUNDS LIKE FIG IS DOING PRACTISE ROUNDS FOR LABOUR WITH THOSE BACKACHES OF YOURS.OHHH I CANT WAIT TO SEE FIG AND HEAR IF I WAS RIGHT ABOUT THE GENDER.MY PLEASURE THINKING BOUT U HUN,THATS WHAT FRIENDS ARE FOR.THANX SO MUCH FOR THE PIC COMMENTS,SADLY I FEEL HUGE AND MY CLOTHES ARE TIGHTEEEMY HUBBY LAUGHS AT ME WHEN I JUMP UP AND DOWN TO GET INTO MY JEANS.HE IS GIVING ME SOME MONEY TO GO BUY NEW CLOTHES BUT THAT NOW GIVES ME INSPIRATION TO LOSE WEIGHT.WENT TO MY GP YESTERDAY AND SHOWED HIM THIS PAINFULL HARD THING NEXT TO VAJAJA(OK WAY TOO MUCH INFO LMAO)ANYWAY HE SAID ITS A BOIL(CAUSED BY FRICTION OF POST PARTUM PADS AND I HAVE SOME KINDA BUG ON MY SKIN,THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME I DEVELOPED ONE,SO HE SAID HE HAS TO INJECT A NUMBING MED AND CUT IT OPEN.I WAS LIKE WTF NOT AGAIN:-(.WASNT ALL THAT BAD THOUGH,ONLY INJECTION BURNT LIKE HELL.NOW IM ON PILLS TO ELIMINATE ALL BUGS.LMAO OK IM DONE WITH THIS ESSAY.HAHA HAVE A SUPER DUPER DAY:-D

Where did you get your nursing bra's from?? I refuse to spend 30quid on 2 bras at debenhams...??

Great news!!!
I had my scan yesterday and Fig is head down! Thank you for your messages of support + advice about the hiccups - you were all right! I didn't get to see much - just a big round head (ouch), the heart beating away, some ribs + baby's tummy. All looked very cramped in there! The Midwife also said that the head is VERY low, which I assume is a good sign! I've been getting lots of backaches (like menstrual cramps) so hopefully Fig is almost cooked!
Finally finished packing my hospital bags. I just have a few things to chuck in at the last minute - clothes, make-up, etc. Got myself an attractive shirt in XXXL from Asda for £6..thought I should look my best during labour. Hmm. Also got myself measured up for nursing bras..I was shocked to find out that I've gone up 3 sizes to 36E!!! Not bad, considering the women in my family aren't renowned for curves.
So now I'm happy happy happy! I get to have my baby at the unit I want to and I'm ready for Fig to arrive!
