11-11-2008 - First doctors appointment

My mood while writing this blog: Happy!

So yesterday on November 10, I had my first appointment. My insurance still doesnt kick in until Dec 1. They stuck two sticks up there and did their thing. I had a breast exam and they let me hear the babies heartbeat for a split second. The assistant was in the room the whole time just watching... she was so weird! ick! Well when I was getting dressed the doctor said I had to meet him in his office to talk. Uh Oh! It was fine... He just wanted me to go for the down syndrome test ASAP because he thought I was 13w 4d. Well I went today for the sonogram and blam! I'm now 14 w 2d making my due date May 10, 2008! Mothers day!! Wowwy! It was so exciting except that Justin had to work because my appointment was at noon. Now they say my tests will most likely come back irregular because I'm further along then they thought. Then I would have to go for additional testing??? Why? If there is something wrong its not like they can fix it, right??

Well it was all very amazing! There is a baby in there!! YAY! I can't believe we did that... Its crazy! My next appointment is December 2, lets pray for the insurance to all be in place by then! Happy days to all!
