| 14-5-2009 - Hello/Braxton Hicks | My mood while writing this blog:Impatient with 9 weeks to go!! |
Hi everyone! Hope everyone is doing well! I am so thankful for this website and the great network that we get to have on here! Its so nice to be able to talk to other women who are going through the same things. I feel like I know so many of you personally. I wish we could all do lunch or something. I would have all of you over and we could sit at a big table and share pregnancy stories and eat delicious food. (I know, I'm a dork)
Update on my last blog..My daughter's scar is doing okay. I have finally calmed down about it. Its one of the hardest things I have ever had to deal with. I am still having a tough time with the fact that she was hurt without me there, and the scarring is something I just need to continue to pray on. The Dr said we have to wait until its been 18 months before we can even consider corrective surgery, which means she will start Kindergarden with this huge scar on her face, which is heartbreaking to me because kids are so inquisitive (and downright mean) sometimes. I am also worried that my husband will not think it is necessary- but I will cross that bridge when I come to it.
So, I am 31 weeks today, but for some reason the site has it as tomorrow. Has anyone else noticed that? My baby shower is this weekend and I am looking very forward to it! I have no idea what I am going to wear. Its been hard for me to feel cute. I am one of those girls who totally transforms during pregnancy and then goes back again. I am used to feeling pretty or whatever and I just don't know about this chick in the mirror lately. :-)
Quick question.. Has anyone had Braxton Hicks contractions yet? Is anyone out of breath almost constantly? My Dr. basically said its somewhat normal and I have to tough it all out, but this sucks! I just want to hold baby Mia. So does my daughter- but like I tell her- she has to be ready for the world. Honestly, knowing what I know now, I would stay in there forever if I were her!!
Well, take care, everyone and let me know if there is anything you are doing that has helped with the BH contractions or being out of breath..
