My mood while writing this blog: Bored

Oh im so bored at home ! Paul is working during the holidays which sucks he worked last year and now again this year, it's proberbly not so bad because we take our holidays during off season (middel of the year) and pay much less for a great holiday going away during the festive season they charge double everywhere, so we actually like to stay at home the city is less hectic and actually enjoyable where as all the holiday destinations are hectic now. There is no traffic but the malls are still swarmed with people.

We decided not to get eachother christmas presents this year were only buying something for Divan and his cousin Chanel (not yet born) some chiristmas presents the rest of the family that is my mother-in-law, father-in-law, sister-in-law and her husband are also doing the same, all the money that we would have spent on present for eachother were using next May to go on a safari trip, driving in the bush, staying in lavish tents, seeing the big 5, bonfires at night ooohhh it's going to be so great. Although I have lived in South Africa my whole life and we have the best safari trips in this beautifull country I have never actually been on one. So all of us are opting for a great holiday instead of presents, Christmas isn't about the presents anyway.

I can't wait for Christmas day at 8:00 were going to church afterwards the whole family is going to have a cold Christmas dinner, cold chicken, salads and nice deserts, we do it cold because it's summer here this time of the year, it's so hot I go to my parents in law everyday to take a swim most of the day Divan is only in a diaper because it's so hot. Anyway I'm making noodle salad and perperment tart which Paul loves. Other family members are bringing different stuff, everyone is making something, I wouldn't like to be standing behind the pots on christmas day or be happy that my mom or mother-in-law is doing it the heat of the kitchen and hot food would make anyone pass out.

On the 27th were going away for a wedding Paul's cousing decided to get married on that day which is actually stupid to me because some of the family wanted to go to the cost for the holidays and now we all have to go sit in one of the hottest towns in this country (Windhoek) for a wedding. Not seeing forward to it at all, the heat is going to kill us.

Divan gave me his first laugh on saturday, he now giggles his little head off everytime we play, it's so cute. He can also almost hold his own bottle as well, everyday he seems different to me and almost everyday he surprises me with something new....!
