02-6-2009 - Update (Long blog)

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

Hi ladies !

I don't write many blogs and I should actually update more, it just seems like there isn't enough time in a day.

Divan is doing so great, such an angel, he's got 8 teeth now, 4 bottom front and 4 top front. He had a bit of a stuffy nose a while ago but nasal spray and the nebulizer worked great. We cut his hair again now he looks just like daddy (Paul also keeps his hair very short) I'll take a pic tonight to show you guys. He is getting so big, starting to walk or try to walk, he can stand by himself now and is starting to give those first steps, he holds onto the couch or coffee table and tries to walk. Were going to build him a sand box one of these days, he loves playing outside pulls out all the grass and man can he crawl one moment here the next there. We also have a new addition to our family his name is Diablo and he is a cross between a Lab and a husky, built like the Lab but looks like a husky, he is starting to get so big, he and Divan loves playing on the grass whenever you throw the ball for Diablo to fetch Divan screams with laughter he thinks it's the funniest thing in the world. They have really bonded Diablo sits under Divan's walker (one of these days he won't fit anymore) while Divan is in it and when Divan moves Diablo moves with him.

Paul is also doing great, we aim to have no debt by year end and we are getting there, he has alot of debt and I have almost none, he has two credit cards and his car and a personal loan, today he paid off his car, and saturday he paid off one of his credit cards whooo !!! Just by doing that he has tons more cash available each month which he is going to use to pay extra in on the other credit card this one will be paid up in two months. The personal loan we will leave as is, we do need to build on our credit record and if we have no debt we wouldn't have a record for when we buy a house. I only have one credit card and my car, my car will be paid off in 6 months and my card by end of this month. We decided to put the extra cash in a money market about where it will lay to collect interest and if we then need extra cash we could draw it straight away. Were going to start building on Divan's education plan next year and we just got our life insurance sorted out this month. So for now if anything should happen to either of us Divan is taken care off. I feel so relieved !! Also if we would like to have another baby and still have all this debt we wouldn't be able to cope financially, now we pay off everything (accept one loan) and we could add another family member without having financial struggle.

As for me I'm doing ok, doktors still don't know why my hair is falling out, the last test they did is taking long will only have results in two weeks, but otherwise I'm ok. Just looking forward to no debt by year end and then we'll start TTC. I am so fed up with the company I work for they always pay me late, this means that my debit orders bounce and then I have to pay penalties when they do, I am seriouslly considering taking them to the CCMA for unlawfull business practises this has been happening for the last 3 months. I did update my CV and send it out already and since yesterday (the day I sent it out) I already have had two replies one interview this Saturday and the other next week, holding thumbs, both are very good positions in the thing that I am best at, interior designing. Paul and I took up a hobby to help relieve some stress and just to have some fun together....golf it is great, so relaxing to just play some golf on a sunday or saturday afternoon. When we go to the driving range we take Divan with he sits in his pram and loves watching us swing at that little white ball. When we play a 18 hole course we leave Divan with granny a bit, Paul and I just play, laugh at bad shots and ride like crazy people around in the golf cart, it so funny ! Paul bought himself a new set of clubs and I am getting mine for my b-day (which is next week thursday) can't wait.
