Hope your burning has improved. I get really bad acid reflux so it's all up in my throat and I carry tums by my side ALWAYS. Thanks to WIC I get lots of milk to chug right off that gallon too LOL

i have a Rx for heartbearn its so bad! i get it from a cup of water, and my sono showed HAIR!! but regular baking soda mixed with a small amout of water...like a tablespoon of bakin soda and 2 tablespoons of water.. its a horrible taste, but after 5 min or so u willll BURP and feel like u've drank a sprite and feel so much better! ( a mississippi remedy!! LOL im a country gurl!)

MINE TOO tums r fine but they make me sick so i dont take them. my doc said i can take anything but pepto....but i hate it it hurts so bad and its constant all day and worse now that she is gettin bigger

GIRL I HAD HEARTBURN WITH ALL MY CHILDREN AND I HAD SIX .TUMS ARE FINE AND THEY HAVE THEM WITH CALCIUM NOW WHICH IS EVEN BETTER .THE MORE HEARTBURN THE MORE HAIR TRUST IT IS REALLY TRUE . YOU WILL BE OKAY BUT CHILL OUT WITH SPICY FOOD JERKED CHICKEN HAD ME CRYING ONE NIGHT LOL. HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER. YEAH AND THE DOCTOR HAD ME DRINKING MILK DIDNT HELP ME MIGHT FOR YOU

I think taking any over the counter med for your heartbrun is okay. Outside of the pregnancy, I see a gastro doctor because I have heartburn every...single....day, so I take Nexium (the little purple pill!) every single day, and have done so for the past four years (it is a "class B" drug so it doesn't affect the baby). Anyway, good luck with the heartburn remedy. If you are still uncomfortable taking Tums, Mylanta, etc. try plain seltzer water, cold. The carbonation should help you to burp.

omg go look at lucy baby pics i had bad heartburn for like 3 months long and she came out with a long ponytail lolz hahahahah someone told me that after i had her liek u must have had a lot of heartburn lolz! i guess its true!!!!! she was soo hairy but yeah u can take tums for it and still i took pecid i hope i spelled it right lolz but good luck and i hope it helps u it didnt help me much! nights were the worse!

I've taken tums and they don't work for me anymore. So the foods I know that I get heartburn with I will drink a glass of milk before, during, and after I eat it. If I already have heartburn I usually have to drink 2 glasses of milk to make it go away. I HATE milk by the way but that's the only thing that works for me now. Luckily my baby has dropped so I get it less...

HEARTBURN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ouch!!!!!!!!! are tums ok? what can i do, what do i take, suggestions PLEASE? its usually an off and on thing, every few days or so, but now its more and more and today my heart has been BURNING since like 11am, and its now 7:30pm, WHAT DO I DO LADIES????
Please advise!!!!! I've heard this means my baby will have a full head of hair (cute her!) but still, mama needs a REMEDY for REAL!!
