I hate to send this out to my friend on here who are TTC, but most of you know the MOST about pregnancy and stuff. My levels were 2685 today - what does that mean? I have read charts and I think it is normal, but they want me to come in again in 3 days. Should I be scared that I have low hcg? Thanks for the help! (PS: I am 4.2 days by LMP - but I ovulated early so I am 20DPO.)

BLESSED - they sound good to me. My MD said as long as they are doubling, the actual # doesn't matter. Congrats on the BFP, so happy for you!!

CONGRATS ON THE BFP!!!Sounds like a fantastic number for 4 weeks! They are just going to make sure that your number is doubling every 48-72 hours. One number doesn't do them much good, its having two reading that show what is going on in there. But I'd say that it's a great number to start with. I'd say they are looking for a number over 5,000. Just try to keep breathing and relax, I know how hard it is though!!

I think they just want to be sure they are increasing. I have never had any hcg levels drawn - ever - they just don`t do it here - even when I went through those years of fertility treatment. You are always in my prayers xxx

i really wouldn't worry they will just check to make sure it is increasing, normaly double over 48 or 72hours approx, congrats

Honey, I wouldn't start worrying just yet. I've been told that the ranges for our hormone levels is pretty wide. They want you to go back in 3 days to make sure that your levels are doubling every few days. That is the important part....that they are going up, not exactly where they are at. I hope that helps some.

This is what I found about HCG levels...Hope this helps.....3 weeks LMP: 5 - 50 mIU/ml 4 weeks LMP: 5 - 426 mIU/ml 5 weeks LMP: 18 - 7,340 mIU/ml 6 weeks LMP: 1,080 - 56,500 mIU/ml 7 - 8 weeks LMP: 7, 650 - 229,000 mIU/ml 9 - 12 weeks LMP: 25,700 - 288,000 mIU/ml 13 - 16 weeks LMP: 13,300 - 254,000 mIU/ml 17 - 24 weeks LMP: 4,060 - 165,400 mIU/ml 25 - 40 weeks LMP: 3,640 - 117,000 mIU/ml
