I called the doctor today and scheduled an appointment for tomorrow but something inside tells me that it won't really be productive. The last time I went I was prescribed 800mg of ibuprofen 2x a day. That's absolutely ridiculous... so I stopped. Plus it wasn't helping the bleeding.. if anything it was making it worse. Needless to say... but I'll say it anyway.. I'm still bleeding. So I've been bleeding since April 28, 2008. These have been the worst 2 months of my life. Now I've seemed to develop this pain in my belly button. It feels like there's a string attached to the inside of my belly button and someone is pulling it, lightly. I don't know what's going on... I did read today that my bleeding could be due to Anovulatory Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding (oh how I love the way they come up with new things daily.) If that's the case they could try hormone therapy or a D&C. Honestly, right now, if a D&C would stop the bleeding then I'm all for it but I don't think my dr. is going to be all for it. I am just so frustrated with this situation!!! What did I do to deserve this?!?!?!

Hang in there! If you feel your Dr. isn't helping you, find another one. I've NEVER heard of ibuprofen being prescribed for bleeding like that. I would think about going right to an RE especially since you are trying to conceive. Good luck and hang in there!!!

It must be so frustrating for you - hang in there and hopefully the doc's cn sort something out for you? Maybe get a second opinion if your not happy with the one you have got? Take care and ttys.
