23-3-2009 - Birthday Wish Not Received

So I am really not sure why I am writing this blog, because I am really not sure what I should be feeling.

As some of you know, we found out in early December that my ex (Mason's sperm donor) had a baby and hid it from the entire family. That baby was put up for adoption at birth.

As of 2:28 pm today . . . Mason's half sister is 1 year old!

Why this upsets me, I'm not sure? I can't explain why I have emotions towards this. It makes no sense to me. Maybe I feel sorry for Mason not being able to know his sister. Maybe I feel like I should care, because I know Mason's dad doesn't. All in all I should be happy that she is being taken care of by a family that can really love her.

I am putting all the information that I have on her, plus some photos in Mason's baby book. Then one day, when they are over 18, maybe he can find her. She does live in the same city.
