03-4-2008 - 2 Pink Lines = Our 5th Sweet Blessing!

My mood while writing this blog: blessed

I had a doctor appointment to see a rheumatologist yesterday morning, and I knew they were going to be doing X-Rays. So, I decided that it would be best for me to take a Pregnancy test, just so I knew for sure that I was not pregnant. So I took the test, laid it on the sink, and started to get my stuff out to brush my teeth, flat iron my hair, makeup, etc.

Normally I would be standing over the test like a hawk, watching it as it changes, but this morning I had expected a Negative, so I wasn't too interested in it. I glanced down at it, and saw that the "control" line was already dark. But something else was there too, I got closer so I could see better and there was a faint pink line next to it! I watched it for a few seconds and it was getting darker! I am Pregnant!!!!

I woke Joseph up, and when he came into the bathroom, I asked him "What do you see?", he blinked his eyes a few times, b/c he was still half asleep, and glanced over and saw the test. He moved closer and leaned over, and said "I see that you are pregnant"! Then he smiled big and gave me a big kiss! I asked him "So what do you think", he said "I think that I am sleepy", and then went and laid back down...lol!

After he was up and we were on our way to the doctor's appointment, he started calling his parents', and talking about telling his co-workers!

We are soooo excited! Our boys are excited as well, the girls aren't old enough to really understand what all of the excitement is about yet, but they too were smiling and giggling!

We're Pregnant!!!
