10-8-2008 - ADVICE ANYONE!! PLEASE HELP!

If anyone can HELP i would LOVE your advice!

Here's the scoup:

Allie usually goes to bed anywhere from 10 to midnight... she usual wakes up at sometimes 2am but usually 4 am an when she wakesup at 4 she wants to be away until 6.. its taking so much out of me i can hardly function! after she wakes up at 6 i try an put her in her bassinette an sometimes she goes in it an sleeps til 8 or 9 but sometiems she doesnt an i end up caving an putting her in my bed with me an then she sleeps til 10 or 11. im trying hard to not start that habbit because i dont wanna work harder later trying to break it because within the next few weeks shes going to start sleeping in her own crib in her own room. I breast feed so i always try an feed her first thing when she wakes up but sometimes its not good enough an she thinks its time to party for 2 hours!! so if anyone has some advice on getting their infants to sleep as well as sleep mostly through the night i would LOVE the help! allie is one month an one week old... also when did all your babies start sleeping though the night?

My second question:

Allie has been spoiled by me,because i hold her alot.. now here's the problem.. but not as big of a concern as the sleep issue.. she wont let me put her down.. as a matter of fact shes laying on the boppy breast feeding right now becuse she wouldnt let me put her in her swing.. im not even kidding you people i cant even take a pee alone.. i try an let her cry but after 15 to 20 min of letting her scream i pick her up because i feel bad an cant take it anymore.. so if anyone has any advice on helping them be more independent please let me know!

It sounds like you are looking through the window at my house!! Jayden is the same way. He eats at 9, 12, 3ish 4 am, 8, 11. He is the same way. He wakes up,eats, and then we both normally fall asleep. He is sleeping in the bed with me. Jeff works at night and trying to get him to go to sleep in his crib and stay there is so hard. He will wake up and scream and I try to leave him in there and he just whales it out! Allie and Jayden are exactly the same. I an't put him down either. He will fall asleep at my breast and as soon as I take him off or away he screams. I think it has to do with nursing babies. I heard from someone that they want to be cuddled all the time and they constantly want that human contact. I think they were right. He just wants to be held and close to either Jeff or I all the time. I'm in the same boat, so if anyone shares anything with you please pass it along to me. :)

MY BABY IS 6 MONTH OLD STILL WAKING UP THRU THE NIGHT I LOOK LIKE A ZOMBIE ALREADY SORRY I CANT HELP! BUT MY OTHER KIDS START SLEEPIN THRU THE NIGHT BY TWO MONTHS ALL BABIES RE DIFFERENT!!
