13-12-2008 - Challenging 9th week hungryMy mood while writing this blog:
hungry

This has been an incredibly stressful week but amazingly, my morning sickness has decreased immensely. Last week I was feeling really sick at night which made it uncomfortable to sleep. Now I am hungry all too often and can't seem to be satisfied with the selection of food in the house. Liam has come down with some unusual skin condition, where he has raised pink and skin colored bumps on his back, arms, and legs. No other symptoms, which I guess is a good thing. I got him into the doctor earlier in the week and he wasn't too concerned, and thinks it is some virus that will eventually go away, and isn't dangerous for my pregnancy. He's in daycare 2 - 3 times a week and his care givers were concerned about it, which made me more concerned and after several attempts to make another appointment, I couldn't get him in this week unless I wanted to take him to the ER in the even of a 'life or death' situation, which this isn't. Today I think it actually looks a lot better than what it did at the beginning of the week. Not to mention the stress of final exams, which I had 3 days in a row. Along with a 10 page research paper I am still working on that's due tomorrow. I can't wait to be done with school. Some good to come out of this week is the birth of Liam's new cousin, a little girl named Sadye. We plan on going to meet her next week down in southern California. I have my 10 week appointment on Monday, which I plan on telling the doctor about my son's unusual condition in case she wanted to do blood work to see if there is anything unusual with me. I really hope to hear the heart beat or have another ultrasound again, it's just reassuring to me.
