04-4-2009 - My son needs surgery! Help!

Ok so my son has been diagnosed with Hydrocephalus! He will most likely need a shunt! Anyone else have a child with Hydrocephalus willing to share stories or provide me with some information would be greatly appercated. I have done some resarch but sometimes the best advice comes from others who have been done this path before. My son is 1 and we dont know the cause yet he has never fallen to cause that kind of damage and the nurses thought maby he was a bit early but when I looked over my dates he could not have been but a week early. It does not rn in my family and the fathers is unknown. So Scared and Lost. Any advice helps.
