| 03-6-2008 - Update | My mood while writing this blog:tired and full |
This mornings appointment went off without a hitch. No bad news at all. We've started funneling again, and this time we've gone to the stitch and a tad past it. Cervical length after the cerclage is about 2.5 cm and well baby can be here anyday really with my waters moving down.
We will have to schedule a little ahead for when the cerclage is to come out- my regular OB's aren't familiar with putting them in or taking them out for that matter. Might as well go with who placed it, right? I asked again when the stitch can come out and Dr. Droste said 36/37 weeks. Some women heal so well that there is difficulty lifting and removing the cerclage because of the tissue regeneration/healing. I hope I'm not one that wont dilate and efface properly now. I wont worry too much about it. Worrying is for worriers and I've tried not to be one of those anymore.
I had horrible hip and joint pain last night so I tried what one of the members on here suggested- rubbing vics vaporub on my sore sides and the flat part of my rear. It took some of the discomfort away- enough of it so I could fall asleep. After sitting or laying when I get up I have the most terrible pains. I limp, the pain shoots all over and wont ease up- I even had problems climbing into bed last night-hubby kept looking at me like I was playing a game to get attention. Had he been just a tad bit closer I would have whacked him with a pillow.
We didn't get too clear of the 4d ultrasounds today- the way Nyah was positioned there wasn't enough fluid to fill the space between her face and the uterine wall to reflect enough detail and depth. Oh well, maybe we'll get one more shot of her in a couple weeks for growth or something. I am curious to know how big she's gotten since the last measurements. I know I have gotten bigger-but who's to say what she's weighing in with.
To all my fellow preggers...best wishes and heartfelt prayers!
xoxo
