18-6-2008 - Bed Rest!

My mood while writing this blog: Hungry and Achy

I feel like I did every spring in high school the day after that first track practice. I am just one big ache from head to toe.

I'm hoping that I'll be able to enjoy a light soak in the tub later on tonight before bed. The tylenol didn't help much last night other than to knock me out for about an hour or so.

Three weeks to go and the cerclage comes out...

I'm starting to get the butterflies. Nyah has come up with some new breakdancing moves and I just am amazed at her...my....our journey. This small growing family has been through so much in such a short period of time- It feels like I just took that pregnancy test yesterday!

Has anyone else's baby pretty much stayed in the same position? Nyah for the mostpart has been head down, facing my right kidney with her back to my left...not much change at all in that position. We'll be checking with one last ultrasound on Friday morning. I wonder what we'll see...I am however getting a little nerved with the latest comments from friends and strangers about "twins" yes I am big, but I have only really gained 20-23 lbs. Yes I'm fluffy, yes I'm round- but I love it. Nobody can take away my little bit of glory this pregnancy brought me. They're just jealous of my lovely baby bump... :)

Honey I hear you with the haters on our beautiful bellies!, I just left the doc's office and was excited that I have only gained 2 pounds since my last visit. That made me feel good because yesterday I had to conduct a training class and several of our employees asked me if I was having twins! I swear I could have fired them on the spot if it were not for labor laws! People are so rude. The other's just kept staring at me and saying are you still pregnant? or, oh my god that's going to be a huge baby! I do not think people ever think before they speak. If it were not for the fact that I can not go off on our employees...girl I would have said a few things that would have hurt those ladies feelings! :)

Who cares if anyone has said you were fluffy or look like you're carrying twins - like you said they are just hating. Girl you look gorgeous. Get you some rest. I am about to go blog about my appointment yesterday - ugh

You hang in there. Not too much longer to go. I just want to say thank you so much for the support. You are such an amazing person. Your words mean more than you can imagine and have helped me so much. I am so excited for you and can't wait to read your baby story - when it's time.
