-2 to 3 nightgowns, front closing if you plan on breast feeding.
-slippers with non slip soles
-robe
-two bras (nursing)
-breast pads
-breast pump, (helps prevent engorgement)
-toiletries. (comb, brush, toothbrush & paste, deodorant, shampoo, cosmetics, sanitary supplies)
-socks
-headbands or ponytail holders
-glasses and/or contact lens supplies
-panties or disposable panties 3 to 4 pair
-loose fitting clothing for your trip home
-lip balm and hard candies to keep your mouth moist
-photo or object to use as a focal point during labor
-tennis ball or back massager
-diversions (books, magazines, journal, announcements)
-a watch with a second hand to time contractions

-oil for massage
-music (tapes, cd's or ipod)
-pencil & notepad
-labor handbook
