I received my fetal doppler I am renting for the pregnancy. It was great I am only 8 weeks and my next doctors appointment isn't until June 4th but I was able to hear the heart beat within mintues. I really hadn't expected to hear anything yet being so early but there it was. Has anyone else used the doppler? My question is when I had my ultrasound last week she could see the heartbeat and said it was 122 bpm but according to the doppler the bpm range between 78 and 90. Are these instruments usually off or could it be that I'm only 8 weeks? I won't stress about it now for I am just glad i was able to hear it!

it might have been your heartbeat you are hearing. Babies heartbeats are very fast. with 2 pregnancies I havent been able to hear anything until the 16-17 week mark
