12 weeks 4 days:
My husband and I heard the heartbeat today with the doppler. It took the nurse a while to find it. She heard a "glimpse" of it, but then couldn't get a steady stream of it. So she had to get another doppler (that was more sensitive) and actually got another nurse (that pushed down much harder) to find it. (My stomach is a little sore from how hard the nurse pushed down to find the heartbeat!) After that, they were able to find it almost immediately. Strong and steady at 160 bpm. It was very exciting...and reassuring! The doctor says the chance of miscarriage has dramatically decreased now (phew!)
