28-6-2008 - 16 weeks--AND my prediction of the sex!

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

16 weeks:

Well, I have even more energy now than I did even two weeks ago. I went for my 4 month appointment yesterday and heard the heartbeat again. It was exactly the same as at 12 weeks--160! I went to a different doctor in the group yesterday, and I was not particulary impressed with him. It was almost like he expected me to run the conversation of the appointment--it was just very awkward! We did have a bit of a yucky situation happen--a previous patient's urine cup was sitting on the counter (very full and with the top off) near the handles for the sink. The doctor went to wash his hands and accidentally knocked it over! It went all of the counter! Luckily, it didn't get on anyone! Personally, I think that in those situations that all you can do is laugh! He didn't really think it was funny... (I know--understandably so--but when my mom got in two accidents in one day--both not her fault, both not too bad, and both no one got hurt--with one in the front and one in the back--she couldn't help but laugh the second time--perhaps inappropriate, but what else can you do?)

I'm feeling LOTS of stretching! Everything is SO tight and my ribs are sore from being pushed out! That pretty much all that is new! Hopefully the next time I update my profile, I'll be saying "It's a _______!" Less than 2 weeks now! (Here's my prediction--a BOY! We'll see :))
