28-6-2008 - 20-21 weeks

My mood while writing this blog:

20 weeks

I meant to update earlier, but my past three weeks have been crazy!! Well, my little one went through a few days where he wasn't moving all that much (which was a bit worrying), but I've been reading that around that time it is quite normal for that to happen (as the baby is storing up fat). Thankfully, he is moving up a storm now! It's a wonderful feeling! My belly button is getting very VERY shallow now! There's nothing much new other than that. I can't believe how quickly time is passing by! It's almost July now--wow!

21 weeks (ish)

Well, I guess when the ultrasound tech tells me my due date is a week earlier, it doesn't count. I went for my appointment today, and my doctor basically said he wasn't going to bother changing my due date! So I guess I'm back at Nov. 9th (instead of Nov. 1st)! I guess from this point forward I'll just kind of look at both weeks!

Doctor's Appointment:

Baby's heartbeat was 150! Everything seems to still be going well! I was asking my doctor a few questions--and apparently I do NOT need to be concerned that my breasts have not been sore at all during this pregnancy (even at the beginning)! (A bit of an embarrassing question to ask, but I guess sore breasts a lot of times is one of the first symptoms to come and the first to go! SO it does NOT mean that they aren't preparing to produce milk or whatever I was worrying that they weren't doing!) ALSO, the past couple of days I have been having something that feels like period cramps every once in a while. So I told my doctor (who is a male), and he asked me what exactly that felt like. It was then that it dawned on my that he was a MALE and would not know what period cramps felt like! Silly me!
