06-9-2009 - BFP...so happy!!!

My mood while writing this blog: SUPER EXCITED!!

Ben (my husband) and I decided that we wanted to try for baby #2 when Emma, our daughter, was around 1 year old. Well she turned 1 on July 12, and shortly after that, we decided to start trying. By the time we started "trying" in July, I had already missed my fertile window obviously. So on to August we went. August 2 was the first day of my period and we BD'd every/every other day until about August 22nd or so (that's alot of BD'ing)! By August 25th, I was feeling very bloated, gassy, my bb's hurt slightly (just when I would first take my bra off at night), I felt emotional and moody and I had a slight dull lower backache. I was planning on testing on August 31st if AF didn't show up. Well then night of the 30th, before I went to bed, I went to the bathroom and when I wiped, I had a couple drops of pink on the toilet paper. I figured that AF was starting so I didn't bother testing in the morning. The next morning on the 31st, a few more drops of pink when wiping. Then NOTHING the rest of the day. Weird. I thought for sure AF would come, but didn't make an appearance. So the next morning (AF now 2 days late), I tested. I got a REALLY SUPER FAINT BFP!!!!! I was ecstatic!!!! I showed Ben just to be sure and he said the line was faint but was definitely there. I tested again in two days time to see if the line would get darker...it did!!!! Yay...I am officially pregnant. I go in to meet with the nurse (to do family history stuff again) on Sept. 29th (Ben and I's anniversary). Then, we have our first official doctor's appointment on Oct. 6th!! I'm am so happy and feel so blessed!! I am so excited to experience this journey again!!!! :) BABY DUST!!!!
