12-12-2008 - Big scare at work... OkMy mood while writing this blog:
Ok


Today at work, I had a huge accident! I showed up at 4am like normal to find that our mail trucks hadn't arrived yet. All the letter carriers showed up and everyone was waiting. It finally showed up at 6:30am. With all the pressure of everyone, I worked as fast as I could. I lifted 3 heavy parcels out of the cage (yes, I know how bad that sounds) and I cramped so bad in my abdomon that I puked. When I started feeling better, I went to the bathroom and pee'd only to find blood! My supervisor rushed me to the hospital. I had was put on an IV and had an U/S. It showed the baby fine... (scratching he/r head) but with a very fast heart beat. I had a bit of blood on the outside of my uterus but my cervix was closed. A huge sigh of relief.... and don't worry... NOOO MORE LIFTING heavy stuff!!! Promise...

i am glad you are ok. it is hard not to do thing like you normally do especially when you feel pretty much the same. i lift kids at my job as some of them can not walk. not to mention lifting your own kids. but i am glad that baby and you are ok . when do you go back to the dr?
