22-4-2009 - Today\'s Ultrasound

My mood while writing this blog:
Ok

I got a call this morning at 9am to book me in at 2pm today... It made me even more nervous that they wanted me in so fast. Baby is measuring at 4lbs and 9 oz and the tech said that head to toe and head circum was perfect. I am measuring at 32 weeks and 5 days making me due June 12 (but they like to go by your first U/S)

I think what has happened (says my tech) because of my job (walking 20Km a day) I am strickly baby... I haven't gained any extra on my bum, arms or anything.... (she hasn't seen me naked). She says doctors always jump to conclusion to rule anything out.... Just wait till I go on holidays next week. I will be laying on the couch for the next 8 weeks eating choc and crap! Then the weight will creep on!

The tech also confirmed that I am def having a boy! They are not suppose to tell you but she whispered to me...lol

Why do they like to freak you out so badly!!! I didn't sleep a wink last night.

Thats a good weight for baby! Well its good to know everything is ok... At least your doc was on top of it! Thats a good thing, it might have scared you but at least you know he wont let anything slide!

Like I said on your profile, I'm sooo happy that things turned out alright. At first when you were measuring at 28 weeks it did give a good scare and I would have been the same as you if I were in your shoes. Well at lease now you know and you'll be able to enjoy your vacation and leave :)
