I took my daughter tonight for her swim evaluation before signing her up for her summer swim class. In the middle of it, I get a massive nose bleed while I am standing in the pool. I had to jump out in all my pale maternity suit glory and race to the bathroom to stop it. I am sure it was a sight! Thankfully the instructor took charge of my daughter and everything was cool. Got another one earlier today in the car that lasted 30 minutes. I went through half a box of tissues and stained my blouse, my bra, and my car seat. No notice, just my nose started "running" suddenly and I was covered before I could grab something. My GP says it is my allergies making my membranes inflamed, but it only seems to happen when I am pregnant. The little things that make the journey special.......:)

Wow, how crazy is that?!? I heard that pregnant women are more proned to nose bleeds but it never happened to me. I guess I'm lucky :o)
