22-6-2009 - Morning sickness again??!!

My mood while writing this blog:
Frustrated

Well, it seems things are sitting on my stomach a little less every day. Maybe it is because the baby is sitting on it instead!... I am SOO hungry, but everything wants to come back up. I really get no warning either. I have gone through a whole box of tissues cleaning my self up from the "surprises" in the car. I lost all of dinner and part of lunch last night. Gotta love the shower because it is huge and you don't have to aim! Other than that I feel great. I am getting huge and am now wearing a brace for my belly and back. I am only showing in my belly and chest, but I am already having braxton-hicks and a significant waddle with LOTS of ligament pain. A lady at church patted me on the shoulder and said " don't worry, it will be over in a few weeks!" Her mouth dropped open when I told her I was only 6 1/2 months and had 3 1/2 more to go. Babies run big in my husbands family (11-14 lbs), though my daughter was 8lbs, 2oz. I think that was because I was violently ill all 10 months and she didn't grow as much. I am SOO glad this will be a C-section from the way the baby is growing.

I actually weigh more this time around though I started at the same weight. I looked heavy with my daughter because I was retaining so much water and was very sick. This time around I am only showing in my belly and chest, but apparently I weigh more now....go figure. We will set the date tomorrow, June 25th, and we will see. I was an emergency section too. I think it will be at 39 weeks because his due date is the day after my daughter's birthday, and we want to space them a little in date....I am thinking Sept. 24th or 25th....

Oh no im sorry to hear you are still feeling sick and hope the sickness stops soon, i suppose there is a good way of looking at it though - the less pounds to lose once baby arrives he he. I know what you mean about people commenting about the size of you as i get that too. I think the stage between 6 and 7 months is a stage for me whereas i look massive and then i seem to settle from 7 months onward. im having a c section too. have they given you a date yet for your section? how many weeks will you be when you have it as i had an emergency section with my little boy but have never had an elected one before. xx

Oh honey, that sounds horrible. I hope for your sake you are able to keep food down soon. Don't worry about what people are saying in regards to your size. I had a women at church this past Sunday ask if I were having twins (which I am not) To which she said. You know when I had my twin boys they didn't even know there was two and you definately look like your having two. I just smiled and said. I guess that just means he's healthy. I am glad to see your staying positive. Good luck.
