20-11-2009 - Hospital for 4 nights!

My mood while writing this blog: In Pain

Iv just got back from hospital cos i rang up on monday night as i had a horrendous pain in my back, lower and upper plus under my bump?

They told me to come in as they thought i had a blood clot :( scary!! neway long story short iv not, iv pulled a lot of muscles doing GOD KNOWS WHAT! so im home now thank god but still in soooo much pain as i have a bad cough and every time i cough or breath in i get a stabbing pain!!

Also found out i have a UTI which is where some of the pain is coming from, plus chest pain from the cough!!!

at least im at home now, taking simple linctus n cocodomol!! hell, it works better than paracetamol! lol

so now im working from home which is a bonus but in sooo much pain which is rubbish, hope it goes b4 xmas, they say i should be on anti inflamatories but cos im preg im not allowed them?! Feels like Toby is lying on my side where it hurts? i wonder if its him too thats making me in pain?

ah bless ya sweetie! you rest up and remember to hold a pillow to your bump if you have to cough,sometimes can ease the jerking around hope you feel better soon x

arh thanks guys.. yeah they explained about the anti inflammatories to me, it just sucks! lolhopefully a bit of rest will do me some good, im still able to work from home as such so no money issues but hopefully the pain will start to subside!

You're not allowed anti-inflammatories during pregnancy (such as ibuprofen) becuase they belong to the NSAID family - which also includes aspirin. Ibuprofen thins the blood just like aspirin..

So glad it wasn't too "serious"...although anything that puts a preggo in pain should be labeled as serious. :) Take it easy, take care of yourself and little Toby!!
