Write a new blog

My mood while writing this blog: Ok |
I'm so THROUGH with corporate AMERICA!!! Ok, when I was 6 months preggo (after I announced it to my job) I was told that I have an attitude problem (believe me I don't one lady has such a bad attitude you would think she's PMSing), then ir was my hair, yesterday when I mentioned that I wanted to take off the whole 12 weeks, I was told I might not have my position, today my supervisor called me and told me I should dress more conservative because I'm on a conservative floor (Chairman's Office) and she understands the new fashion trends but I shouldn't wear thigns so snug to show I'm pregnant. I'm shocked. First of all, wear the same clothes as I did before I got pregnant that I can fit. Just because you can see my big 7 months belly I can't help that. Talk to GOD and see if that's the result from Eve! You have no idea how pissed I am right now. Good thing I get off at 12:30 pm on Fridays. I'm so ready to go. I feel like ever since I've told them I'm pregnant, it's been going down hill from there. I'm the youngest employee in the Chairman's office. The next person may be in her mid 30's. I don't wear shirts that are cut too low and you can see my cleve, I don't wear see through pants, short dresses. AND I DON'T DRESS ACCORDING TO THE LATEST FASHION TREND! How insulting. What? Because of my age. Ok I'm 21. That doesn't make me less of an adult than you. Believe me, I HOLD MY OWN. I'm way more mature than their SPOILED children. I went to college with a job (40hours a week) and not call "MOMMIE" or "DADDIE" to give me a bigger alloance. After today, I'm taking my 12 WEEKS UNPAID OR NOT OFF!

Saturday, 23 Aug That is crazy about your boss. I feel like I get that sometimes too because I'm 22, have done everytihng on my own including college and what not and people at the job look at me like some little kid. Just wear what you want, pregnancy is NOT something to be trying to hide as long as you don't go to work with your belly hanging out trough your clothes and if they have a problem with it, it's their problem not yours. Hopefully you don't let your boss stress you out too much. and with the FMLA, they have to give you back your job so I wouldn't worry about that. Angie
