My little man Travis will be born some time around November 2, 2008. My fiance and I have been engaged since November 2007. It was weird the way he brought it up though he hasn't proposed the traditional way. Now that my baby shower is already planned it's time for me to plan my wedding. We plan on getting married May 2, 2009. This is our first marriage and we are new to many things. There are some things I know what I want and then there are some things I'm not too sure about. Like when to ask people to be in my wedding. If I should use a coordinator. We have the place picked out. It will be and 6:30 pm outside wedding. The reception will follow afterwards. If you've been married before please tell me what to expect and things I should do. THANKS!

I would not suggest a wedding planner/coordinator. I would wait for a while before asking someone to be in it... Good luck and congrats!!!

The place where I got married handled all the catering and setting up. The only thing that I had to do myself was all the little stuff like flowers, cake, hiring a minister ect. I kept it very simple having only one brides maid (my maid- of- honor). Being that it is in May, I would start planning at least 6 months ahead of time. My only big suggestion to you and your furture hubby is to take a honeymoon! don't delay it (that is if you can afford one). I think it is SO important to do! Congrats and best of luck to you!!
