10-11-2008 - Blessing in disguise

Well as it gets colder here in China. I'm reminded why i hate winter.
You see they don't have heating in southern China. Shanghai is considered southern.
It's getting pretty cold.. NO HEating.. yeah put 2 and 2 together.. and you'll hear me with a whole slu of complaints. not to mention no insultaion here and everything is made from cement so its like a big fridge.
Anyways my new super power.. SUPA SMELL. was acting up yesterday . OUr bedroom was too stinky for me to sleep in..This is an imaginary scent that only i can smell BTW.. so i slept with my 9 year old daughter. Now she is a giant ball of heat and loves to cuddle. She really needs to teach my husband a thing or 2 about cuddles honestly. her room is also small meaning warmer. Her bed may be smaller but much better partner for sleeping then my husband. NUmber 1 thing that makes her better. SHE DOESN"T SNORE! My husband and i have a rule. I must sleep first or i can kick and punch him awake when he starts to snore until i sleep. ok maybe its my rule. But he's a good man never complains

So stinky room means i have a good reason for an awesome night sleep. plus my little girl is getting bigger i don't think i'll get away with cuddles too much longer

My last complaint.
It's cold
We dont' have a dryer .. everything is hanged to dry ( it's jsut like this in China)
the washingmachine is on the balcony '(outiside)
Water+ cold outside+ havign to hang everything = BIG STINKY part of my life right now

Can't wait to get back to canada and put my clothes in the dryer and it gets all fluffy..awwwwwwwwwwwww
