I'm glad mommie and baby is going well, I'm getting my test done on the 23rd of this month, I want to know because I know it want change the way I Love my baby. But I understand your point of view as well.

I've never turned the test down. I had two pregnancies and did the test for both of them. I can say though with my son(12 years ago), they made a mistake with the results telling me he had down syndrome, but then the nurse/Dr whatever was like something is wrong here, I will be right back. She came back and told me that my son was fine, it was an error in their calculations after telling me I had a sick baby. I was heated. I never went back to that clinic again.

I sdon't know how it is out there but here in Canada the defomities test is two parts. It's an ultrasound that does the measurement of the baby and I believe blood test. and if their is reason for concern you get the option other resource that would be offered to you by your doctor. Glad that everything is okay and that you were able to hear your baby heatbeat few more weeks until you find out the sex yeah!!!!!!

What's up mommies...
I had my 15 week appointment yesterday. Everything is just peachy. I'm super healthy and my baby heart rate is really good and strong. I only got to hear heartbeat for a short time....I didn't want to keep my doctor long...she had a busy day yesterday.
I actually turned down that test to see if your child has defomities. I want to stay happy. Then they say it' s not 100% accurate sooooo why let them stick that loooong needle in me. If I got bad news I think i'll be miserable. So I'll just leave it in God's hands that I have me a healthy little me. Has anyone else turned that procedure down?
