23-11-2009 - 8 weeks old

My mood while writing this blog: sad/happy

Well, Silas is 8 weeks 5 days old today. Time has gone by so fast! He got his first shots today :( It wasn't as bad as i thought it was going to be. He screamed so bad when he got his antibiotic shot a few weeks ago. I cried so bad!

He weighed 11 lbs 11 oz & was 25 inches long now! He's grown so much! He coos & smiles all the time. He loves to be talked to! He loves attention. He is getting better at picking his head up & holding it up now. He hasn't rolled over yet, but we've been practicing :)

He slept through his Halloween outing. He was a monkey :)

He's sleeping 5-6 hours straight at night now! I'm very happy about that because i definitely was needing it! The only problem we are having with him is that he has a lot of gas still. We changed him to the Similac Sensitive for gas & fussiness & it helped for a week or so, but it's not making a difference now. I guess it's stuff i'm eating since i'm breastfeeding too. I haven't changed my diet so i guess i have to & see if it helps.

I can't think of everything right now, but he's doing great! He's growing & he's a very happy baby! We love him so much & i love being a mom!!!
