01-7-2009 - WTF??

My mood while writing this blog:

Well, i finally got to know how my 'family' & 'friends' feel about things & how childish & selfish they are. My sister & best friend came over last week to hang out after i asked them to. Now my sis & friend don't like my husband & never have. They have never had a reason not to like him. They don't like him b/c they think he took me away from them. Just b/c i don't spend every day with them anymore i guess. Well, Hubby doesn't like them either b/c of the way they act (or mostly my sister acts;my friend acts better around him). He has always been nice to them anyways & has never done anything to them or been rude or anything. So they were here & he was being nice & asking if they wanted something to drink & stuff. My sister said no in a smart ass way & then he was trying to talk to her & she completely ignored him! She was being a bitch & it really upset Hubby b/c he was trying to be nice. He left the room b/c he was mad & my sister got something to eat & he came back while she was getting her food & he sat where she was sitting(we have plenty of seating in here) & she came out of the kitchen & saw him & rolled her eyes & turned around and sat at the kitchen table! When she did that, Hubby got up & went over to her & told her she has no reason to be a bitch to him & she wasn't going to disrespect him in his house. My sis was just looking at me the whole time like i should say something to him & not let him talk to her like that. So her & my friend left & she was texting me & calling me & i didn't answer or read my texts & for some stupid reason they came back over here with one of my sisters friends apparently thinking that my husband wasn't letting me talk to them or was abusing me or something. My sis came back over her yelling & almost got the cops called on us. They all stood outside our door trying to bitch at Hubby & my sis was yelling at me saying i needed to come to her car & talk to her. So a few mins later i went out there & she didn't say anything & i asked her what she wanted & she started yelling again & someone said they were going to call the cops again. I told her if she couldn't talk like a normal person then i wasn't going to talk to her so i went back inside & they left. I told my sis that if she didn't want to be called a bitch then she shouldn't act like one. She has had a bitch attitude her whole life (seriously...not just kidding). I completely don't think Hubby did anything wrong saying something to her b/c she has no right to treat him like that when he didn't do anything. I have taken her shit my whole life & i don't think hubby should have to and i'm glad he will say something to her b/c i never do. I always just take her shit. It was just so ridiculous. So now they hate me & are not doing my baby shower anymore. My friend doesn't even have a reason to not like me anymore. It's just ridiculous...

I would just try to focus on down playing the drama. If you think that the only way to not get cought in a shit storm of drama is to avoid them, then REALLY that is what you should do. All that stress and adrenaline is not good at all for the baby. It's not worth it. So I would ignore, avoid or what ever until they calm down or you have the baby. They will figure it out that you are working on your family now and if they want any part of it they will have to act different. You have already tried to have both. It was not healthy for you or your baby. If you feel you must tell them something I would say somthing like, I am choosing to side with my baby. I need LESS stress, so I am am going to make the choices I have to , to facilitate that for my baby. Done and done. I seriously ignore my sister right now. I wont take her calls or talk to her at all. She is too much drama. Good luck

honey, at this point I would say FUCK the baby shower. that nonsense is totally not worth it AT ALL! Damn str8 he had a right to stand up to them. His house his food his rules! If you cant be polite then dont visit and as for the yelling in front of the house...I would have called the cops on them!

That really sucks. If they were your family/friends they would make things easier on you regardless wether they liked him or not. I have a friend and I have alot of reasons not to like her bf but the way I see it if she forgives him I have no right to not forgive him. So I am always nice and I actually have reasons. I hope things get better but if they dont its probably better not to see them. Your husband doesnt deserve it and neither do you. Good luck.
