08-7-2009 - 7-8 dr. appt.

My mood while writing this blog:
relieved

I had a dr. appt. today & it went well! I was trying to remember some questions i was going to ask my dr. ( i wrote them down & forgot the paper of course :) So he just started naming common questions & it reminded me of a couple. He said that when i register or something with the hospital or sometime before delivery anyways...i'll find out more later...that i have to talk or write down my birth plan for the nurses at the hospital. He asked me about breastfeeding & it reminded me about the nurses giving the baby a bottle when he's born & i told him i didn't want him to have a bottle, that i wanted to BF asap after he's born so he said that would be in the birth plan. I don't have much of a birth plan except i want Silas to be cleaned & weighed & all that stuff in the room with me while they're stitching me or whatever & give him back to me. I don't want them to take him anywhere right after he's born unless he needs some medical attention. Then i want the nurses to know that no visitiors are allowed in the room until we say we're ready. Hubby made a sign to put on the door so no one will come in. He was being funny & it had Stewie from Family Guy with a laser gun or something & it said DANGER NO CREEPY PEOPLE AMONGST THIS CHILD UNTIL PARENTAL UNITS ALLOW! He's crazy sometimes. I told him just a do not enter or no visitors till whenever sign would do just fine, but he makes signs & stuff for companys as his job so he has fun with it :) Anyways...I had to call the dr. back bc they didn't have my glucose test results in when i was there. I called & they said that everything was fine! I passed my test & my iron & hemoglobin or whatever was all good! So i'm happy bc i've been kind of worried about my iron since i don't eat very well at all & i HATE most vegetables. So i was very happy about that. I have another blood test for something in a couple more weeks :( boo... He just put me on my every 2 week appointments also! It's getting so close to baby time! :D Thanks for listening...i know i ramble a lot when i blog :) i can't ever keep my thoughts straight anymore :) OH P.S. i gained more weight :( i'm up to 230 lbs :(

WOW! i did't realize there were so many decision to make towards the end! i am totally using your blog to start a little list somewhere :)
