| 06-8-2009 - week 33 updates | My mood while writing this blog:hungry |
Well, i'm going to be 34 weeks on Saturday! Time has actually just now started to slow down for me. It seems like this whole pregnancy has just flown by! We're done decorating Silas's room! I still have to get my glider chair & the curtains, but other than that it's done :) I'm going to post pics here in a few minutes. I have to do it on the laptop b/c Hubby said his card reader on this computer is messed up.
I am almost done packing our bags! I still need a few things, but i'm going to try to get them asap! I still need a robe, slippers, & going home outfit. I can't remember what else...
I feel HUGE! I looked in the mirror the other day & really didn't like what i saw at all! My arms are GIANT! I look so weird being this big b/c my face hasn't gained any weight so it looks like i have a little head on a big body. I weigh 239 now! I never though I would weigh that much in my life. The most i have ever weighed was 200 & that was a long time ago. I pretty much have always stayed around 170-175. That's too big too, but oh well! I can't wait to start losing weight after Silas gets here! I notice the weight that i'm carrying around too. My feet and back hurt more & i just feel heavy. Ok enough fat talk...
I just found out that my financial aid at school will pay for summer semesters too! I don't think they did that before. I got more money this time so maybe it will cover everything. Last time i went i had $500 come out of my pocket just for one semester! It's ridiculous & they make you wait till the first day of school to get your books if you have a pell grant so all of the used books are gone then & you have to pay full price for a new book! Those books are VERY expensive, some a couple hundred dollars! I'm hoping some used ones will be left, but there wasn't last time...
My last dr. appt. went well. They are going to check my cervix & do the group b strep test at my next appt. in 2 weeks. I hope that goes well.
My grandmothers funeral went well also. I was kind of dissapointed in the service though b/c at the funeral home there is a guy that talks while we're all in the chapel looking room. He didn't know my grandmother & only said like 2 things about her that someone in our family told him. The rest of the time he just read stuff out of the Bible. It was pretty much an everyday church sermon! I was upset about that bc it's supposed to be about the person that passed away not Bible scriptures & sermons like you're at church. He said things just like my preacher would say them in an everyday sermon. I was sitting there like 'am i at a funeral or at church??'. It was just upsetting. I want my funeral to be nothing like that! I want someone or a few people who actually knew me to talk & everyone talk about memories & celebrate my life. I don't want some stranger talking & everyone feeling like it's a Wednesday night church sermon!
Anyways...I'm so ready for Silas to get here! I'm still scared to death, but i'm ready too. I just want it to be over with & have him here!!! I can't wait to see him, what he looks like, touch him, hold him, & bond with him! It's so exciting!!! I hope everyone is ready for their LO's also! Only 6 weeks left!!!
