29-8-2009 - Blah day

My mood while writing this blog:

Well, I was fine earlier, but now i'm just kind of depressed. I'm so tired of being pregnant. I can't sleep & i have to wake up every time i want to turn over or anything. It's hard to get out of bed just to go to the bathroom which i have to do at least 3 times a night. I'm so tired & exhausted & i don't want to do anything around the house, but i'm so tired of just sitting here too. I can't bend over and it's hard to do normal things like shave. None of my clothes fit anymore at all & i refuse to waste money on clothes that won't fit in a few weeks. I'm living in pajamas. I'm huge. I have gained 60 lbs so far. I hate the way i look & i'm just really fat & my stretch marks are horrible. I can't find anything i want to eat anymore at all & i need something new to drink. I'm so tired of eating & drinking the same things especially since i have to drink so much all the time. I don't want to have sex with DH anymore at all bc i hate the way i look. We don't really do it anymore anyways, but i feel so unattractive it's ridiculous. I hate being around people looking like this. I just feel completely ugly. I know everyone knows i'm pregnant & some people may use that as an excuse for my weight, but i'm huge & flabby & nasty. I'm not one of the cute little pregnant women. I wasn't small before i got pregnant & i have always had really low self esteem bc of my weight & now it's just really bad. I feel like i've seriously been pregnant forever. I want Silas to come out so i can get back to feeling somewhat normal. I'm so happy that i'm pregnant & i can't wait to be a mom. None of my depressive feeling have anything to do with that or having a baby. I'm so ready for all of that, it's just the not being able to do anything anymore that is really getting to me. I just feel like i'm stuck. I sure hope i get to feeling better later. I'm just so blah right now & sorry if i got anyone else down. I just feel better when i can get my feelings out. This has already helped me feel a little better. I'm ready for DH to get home from work & i'm going to make him take me out or something...hopefully anyways since we really don't have the money for it at all...i just know i'm not cooking tonight.

hey, i just looking at profiles & came across yours..i COMPLETELY understand how you feel - i'm on the same boat. i wake up to pee every 10 mins at night, and i have to constantly roll over b/c my belly feels too heavy if i sleep on the same side for a while. i'm sooo ready to be a mommy. i don't fit any of my clothes anymore and even some of my maternity stuff is tight on me LOL! i don't feel sexy anymore either =( my bf thinks i still am but it doesn't matter & everytime i look at my stretch marks i get depressed. my body will never be the same after i give birth. i've never lost more then 10 pounds, so only god knows how i'll lose over 50! but yeah, hang in there! only a few more weeks if that =) take care

Hey lovely lady, I know how you feel and it is so sad to be going through something so wonderful and to feel so negative but I think it is normal. Our bodies aren't our anymore we are playing host and it is tiring and to be honest at times more than a little boring. Still, not too much longer and we will be yummy mummy's with gorgeous children and we won't even remember this. X

I think when we are at this point in our pregnancy that we all feel like you do. This is my first pregnancy and I was not expecting to be like this towards the end of my pregnancy but I am just glad that it is almost over. Pregnancy is a beautiful things because we get to create the wonderful human beings but the process is not always enjoyable but just know that it is temporary and it is not permanent and when you see your little one smiling at you none of this will matter. I am glad we are able to vent here just know that you are not alone girl!

trust me! I think we all secretly feel this way! I used to love being the hot chick and getting a bunch of attention and having no stretch marks! now people just talk to me about babies and being pregnant and only check me out because I'm pregnant! It really makes me sad lol! I know it shouldn't because having a baby is a beautiful thing but every girl wants to be sexy and hot to! I hate getting cranky cause i'm in pain all the time! I dont want to cook or clean at all! and my husband still calls me beautiful but It's kind of like..yeah sure...not so much lol like they are just saying it to try and make us feel better but if I were a guy, I would be checking out the hot chick with the nice body and no stretch marks before checking out the big preggo lady lol! I gained to much weight to! I just want to be back to normal and be a mom at the same time. Don't worry hun!! your not alone lol!!

Chrissy me and you have so much in common. Its like everything you said , it seems like you read my mind. I didn't want to admit but I am sick of being pregnant as well. I love my son and everything but I can't sleep at night without getting up every hour to go to the bathroom, plus these aches and pains. Like you said all our clothes can't fit and I know for a fact that I cant afford new clothes. I am glad my inlaws gave me their own maternity clothes or I would of been out of luck for sure. I tried to have sex with my husband tonight for the first time and it was no good. This belly is in the way. But look on the bright side. 3 more weeks hun. We can make it unless you go into labor earlier. Once you have the baby, if you are breastfeeding, I read your body will return back to normal. That is the exciting part about breastfeeding. Plus the baby is getting the best nutrients:) hang in there girl, we all know how u feel.

What is it with today? I have felt quitedown today aswell so I treated myself to a small glass of wine & it made me feel a little better but I won'tbe happy till she's here! Sorry u feel like this but everyone keeps telling me that the last few weeks do make u feel like crap & I think they are right! Hope tomorrow brings u a little more happiness.xx

yea i know how u feel i cant sleep at all i cant bend down its killer and i feel like WOAH i have no one to tell my problems too at all so i keep it in my head i feel hungry all the time and i feel like CRAP! my back hurts feet and i want a messanged so bad but cant u know why lol.. but i hope everything gets better for u.. im be 38 weeks thursday [grr] wish it was all over!

Hang in there! I have my blah days too! And even though my DH tells me I look beautiful I know he has to be pretty grossed out with my stretch marks and HUGE feet! He LOVES feet (weird huh?) and used to think mine were so beautiful. Now I have big oger feet! They even got stretch marks on them cause they've gotten so big! :( There is NO WAY I can bend over to paint my toes and even putting lotion on them is a challenge :( He still tells me they are beautiful, but I know what he must really be thinking! I KNOW! Why don't you go get yourself a nice relaxing pedicure!? It will be so nice for you to treat yourself to one! I was planning on doing that sometime this weekend, though I too am a little tight on money :( If you can have DH take you to the shop for a pedicure and then you two can get some frozen yougart or a smoothie! Whatever you decide to do, just hang in there! We will have our bodies back before we know it and I hear you miss being pregnant once their out so as hard as it is try and enjoy it while it lasts! :) Hope you feel better!

I hear you loud and clear !!!! I went into work today ad totally over did it. i got home and took some tylenol and had an hours hot bath.... I am not laying on the sofa cankles up, ice packs on both legs lol. I've been having back pains and had an upset stomach a while ago. I've peed 3 times since I got home an hour and a half ago. every time i move I have the feeling like I'm either gonna piss myself or I'm having a contraction... so don't think you're the only one feeling like crap!!! we all are ...hang in there!!!

I'm so sorry that you are feeling lousy today, but you are definitely not alone. It is such a short time though and will go so fast. Just hang in there a little longer and hopefully you will go early. I also agree with cheyni that you look great in all of your pictures. Don't worry about the weight gain. There will be plenty of time to worry about that after when you don't have such other discomforts.

I know exactly how your feeling hunni... These last few weeks are a killer.... Personally i think you look fab but i know where your coming from in regards to the weight... Im not even thinking about how much i've put on... I was weighed at my 1st antinatal app and not been weighed since so i have no idea how much ive put on but i dont care... i'll deal with it once Eden is born..... We're full term officially today so fingers crossed our babies decide to make an appearance and VERY very soon xxx
